If you plan to purchase a Sonotrax Doppler on Ebay , you should pay attention to the follows
1)
Some sellers use “professional use”, “professional grade” , “professional model” etc to imply that they are selling “Pro” Model . Actually they are selling Basic model . Only “pro” model has the audio play back function.
3)
Vascular Doppler and Fetal Heart Doppler are slightly different. Although the 2,3,4 ,8mhz probe is compatible with
any model of Sonotrax Doppler body. The compatibility does not mean best performance.
While Fetal Doppler captures the fetal heart movement and the rate , the vascular Doppler needs to capture even smaller blood flow in artery or vein . Usually 2,3mhz probe are used
for fetal heart movement detection , 4 mhz can be used for either fetal heart detection , or upper arm/leg , thigh .
8mhz probe are usually for lower arm, lower leg blood flow detection. If you use the Doppler for vascular purpose only , we strongly recommend the Sonotrax vascular model. The performance will pay you because the Sonotrax Vascular is specially tuned for vascular application.

Edan Instruments offers 4 different probes . Generally the lower frequency , the deeper detection, the lower resolution.
All these Doppler probe emit continuous ultrasound beam , they are designed for spot check which means that each exam should last only a few minutes , check are occasionally .
Calling
these Doppler a monitor
is not correct because they are not designed to continuously use on fetus. There is one fetal Doppler using same technology of hospital grade fetal monitor technology , the PC-860B monitor using 1mhz pulse beam emit much low dose of ultrasound emission. PC-860B is much safer for using in middle or later term of pregnancy if intensive checking and monitoring is needed. PC-860B can be found from our ebay store too.

1) Usually we ship via US Postal service . For free or standard shipping , we usually ship 1st class mail . For Expedite service we usually ship via USPS Priority mail . For 1 day Shipping , we ship via USPS Express mail . We may choose other shipping methods if the deliver time is not longer than above mentioned methods. However we do not guarantee item will be delivered in the time frame estimated by Ebay because the performance of parcel carriers. We do guarantee we will use the shipping methods you paid for .
